Unable to install 2017
I just downloaded the 2017 installer file and am unable to install the upgrade B5554 because of the following error as shown in the attached file. I have uninstalled 2016, run the cleanup tool but no success. I noticed that the download file name is odd compared to 2016. 2016 files always contain the build number, The file I downloaded is named AcronisTrueiMage 2017_is.exe, no build number. Any thoughts on how to proceed? I have reinstalled TI 2016 B6581 with no issues.
Edit:
I just looked at the download file name for 2016 and it contains the build number, 2017 is always listed as AcronisTrueiMage 2017.exe. What is actually downloaded is AcronisTrueiMage 2017_is.exe. I suspect that the incorrect file name is cauisng the issue.

Steve, I'm installing now using the web based installer that pulls down the correct files. The file name I described is what I see in my account. Some how the the file is incorrectly displayed for the full installer download. I don't see anything like you describe.
Edit: I have successfully installed 2017 using the web based installer. I see 5fb96bfbca8e9a150fcc8a510463de2a as the check sum for the 2017 download but I see http://download.acronis.com/AcronisTrueImage2017.exe with no build number. Something is wrong at least on my account.

Tom, are you looking at the new or the old Acronis site?
Try the old site at https://www.acronis.com/en-eu/my/products/index.html

I just checked the new site and I see the same thing that Tom does. The old site shows what Steve indicates. Puzzling!

I just sent a PM to Ekaterina about this so will see what comes out of it.

I was looking at the new site. The link you posted shows TI 2017 properly. I can see the file https://www.acronis.com/en-eu/my/download/?AcronisTrueImage2017_5554.exe but do nto see this at the new site.

Tom, there are a few differences that makes me keep using the old site, this type of issue is one, plus easy access to my serial numbers which I have not yet been able to find on the new site!

Steve the licenses are there but you have to click on the Workstation symbol in the product listing, then put a check mark next to the license key and click on info. Very convoluted. I sometimes find I amd directed to the new sites' download page even if I login using the old one.

Thanks, Tom, that works for any of my perpetual licenses but does nothing for the subscription licenses.

Can't help with subscriptions since I don't have any.

No problem Tom, I can see all the serials, including for subscription via the old website!

You can also download any product installer directly from here (without needing to login).
Customer Support - Product Updates
If you need license information, you'd still have to get that from the account or contact support directly. Hopefully they get the product download from your account sorted out after contacting them though.

I have successfuly installed on my laptop by using the web based installer. I had trouble downloading a copy that wasn't corrupted on my desktop even using the old site link where the file is named correctly. I finally downloaded a copy on my laptop using the old site, put it on a flash drive and installed it. I also had a corrupted download of the UR MSI file on the desktop machine veven from the old site. My desktop is using a Netgear wireless usb adapter because the ehternet port in the mother board died. I donwload from other sites using the wirless adapter so I don't know why there is a corruption problem with Acronis.
Bobbo, your link to download without logging in just goes to another thread.

Hello thomasjk,
Just wanted to let you know that there are indeed two files with different checksums. AcronisTrueImage2017_is.exe has MD5 checksum 93e871fabf27758acdd682e51adb31ac, and AcronisTrueImage2017.exe - 5fb96bfbca8e9a150fcc8a510463de2a. Both are equally good, they install the same product with the same set of features, Acronis True Image 2017. The difference is minor and is related to internal mechanics of the program.
Currently there is an issue with the web site which displays MD5 checksum from AcronisTrueImage2017.exe for the file AcronisTrueImage2017_is.exe.
Perhaps the installation failure was not caused by a corrupt download, but by some issue that occurred with the installation itself.
Regards,
Slava
