True Image will not install nor un-install
I installed tru-image on my 72 year old fathers machine 6mo ago. He finally noticed it and decided it must be spyware or malware and proceeded to try and delete the program not using the uninstall. In trying to fix this neither fix,nor install, nor unisntall works in windows and running from bootup with the cd gives me volume errors on the backup drive. I full formatted the backup drive and from cd it still says the drive is full choose another destination.
What I really need is some trick to force windows to do a full un-install without having to jump through hoops. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance for considering my problem.

Richard, if your backup drive isn't being recognised correctly when booting from the Acronis 2015 CD then this is a different problem to the installed Acronis application not being able to run etc.
The backup drive may need to be fully reformatted again after deleting & recreating any partitions that are on it - you can try to do this from within Windows Disk Management but if that doesn't work for you, then download a copy of the free MiniTool Partition Wizard to do this.
The Acronis Cleanup Tool will remove all traces of the Acronis True Image product to allow you to reinstall a fresh clean copy, as Thomas advised previously.

Thank you Thomas that did the trick on the resinstall.
Steve do you have a link? I am indeed still not able to use external usb SSD to back up on.
