Failing to Install acronis upgrade due to license issues

Thread needs solution

Just purchased an upgrade Acronis B&R Advanced Server SBS Edition.
Replaced my SBS2003 server with SBS2008 by doing a new box install.
Started Acronis Install file and installed the license server.
Added the AB&R 10 license. Went OK and lists a license as available.
Said I should add the old true image license as well, so try "add license" and enter my True Image serial number ( 5 lote of 5 numbers ) and finish the wizard. Then get an error message "Failed to add the license keys". Whats have I missed.

Anyway thought I would carry on and try the AB&R 10 install. Start up and accept the terms, and accept the license server name. then pressing next I get "There is no license key appropriate for the current operating system on the specified license server.

Where to now ?
Do I need to try and get a file off my old server or is something else wrong ?

There are 3 reasons why the lkeysmay fail to be added to the License Server: 

  1. Different language version (for instance, LS is UK version, and the old license is US)
  2. Different product keys (new versions is ABR SBS, which allows centralised management and requires License Server and the old one is Acronis True Image Echo Server for Windows, which is a standalone version and should be upgraded to the Acronis Backup and Recovery Server for Windows)
  3. License Server glitch

In order to localise the issue and find an appropriate solution for it we will need some additional information. Could you please send me via Private Message the serial keys you're trying to add, screenshot of the License server and Acronis Info from the problem machine.

Should you have ABR SBS server Upgrade keys and ATI Server for Windows old keys, please contact our Sales department for license key change, that will allow you to install the desired product onto the machine.
