No computers near me

Thread needs solution

I am using snap deploy 4 and we just bought some new computers.

When trying to create a master image, I am unable to see the option to save it in computers near me. The icon is not there.

On other computers over the same network, i see this option.

I am plugged in through ethernet. We use a server for our acronis.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds like a lack of network drivers for the hardware you're trying to create the master image on.  SD5 is a couple of years now and the newer Intel NICs' in systems did not exist back then.  You would need to create WinPE rescue media and include those drivers, or upgrade to SD5 and use the beta 1666 which has the latest Intel Nic drivers and new drier support for EMMC hard drives and PCI NVME hard drives.  Alternatively, you might try grabbing a USB to ethernet adapter and using that instead - I have a couple on hand at the office as they come in handy for situations like this.  These use pretty generic drivers that seem to always be picked up in the Acronis Linux media.  Alternatively, if you have docking stations (pluggable makes a nice generic usb 3.0 docking station / Dell has many E-series docks, etc), those Nics are likely to work as well.

Thanks for your response!

I tried using an adapter but it didn't work. Now I am trying to create the media and add the drivers but there is not an option to add the drivers within the management console.

I am using this article: https://kb.acronis.com/content/26266

But after setting acronis snap deploy 4 it skips the add driver window and goes straight to the create media window.

Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance
