How to reinstall Bootable media builder

Thread needs solution

I attempted to create a bootable disk with Disk director 12

I get an error the tells me I need to reinstall the bootable media builder, but I don't know what they're talking about?

Do I need to reinstall Disk Director? Or do I need to download and install the Bootable media iso file? Those are the only choices I have on my download page.

Thanks!

A bit of history: Been using True image for some time. I purchased TI 2017 whic also included a license for DD12. I installed booth, but had problems with True Image. I uninstalled both TI and DD12, then ran the cleanup tool (also checked registry as instructed), which I understand cleans up after all products. I installed TI 2017 and the DD12 after the cleanup tool.

The order of installation of Acronis products can make a difference. Acronis recommends that you install their oldest program first and the newest program last. If you installed TI2017 first and then DD12, then you should run the cleanup tool again and then install DD12 followed by TI2017. This should fix the problem with the bootable media builder error message that you see.
