windows 10 pro no accessible device
I am having a dual boot windows and in one partition windows 10 32 bit is installed. After updating drivers i had bsod and the cause was due to ide ata driver. While trying to replace the driver I messed it up resulting unable to boot due to inaccessible device. However I had acronis backup done some days ago .Can I do parial recovery only to get back the drivers and if yes how do I proceed..Iwant to avoid full recovery if possible since the os was updated very recently.thanks

Partha, what you can do is ensure that you have a backup of all your user data / documents / pictures etc from the broken OS installation, before you go ahead with doing a full restore, that way you should minimise any data loss, assuming that your last full backup was a little while ago. The Acronis Rescue Media can be used to make a backup as well as being used for Recovery.

I have restored the system using the backup and now updated again. thanks.I have a newbie question. As of now whenever am backingup I use full backup so that it is easy to restore as there is a single image. In case of aodpting incremental mode how to retore as there will be more than one image?

Partha, there should be no problem in restoring from a set of incremental images provided you have the complete set, i.e. the Full backup plus all the incremental images that were created after the full image.
When restoring, if you have a set of images, then Acronis can offer you the option of picking a particular restore point to use, i.e. if you make a daily backup, then you could pick to restore from Tuesday or Friday etc.

Which driver you have messed up with? Just simply boot into Safe Mode and then uninstall those drivers.

That's it!
I have faced this problem once before and have resolved it.
