Acronis and Win7 workarounds?

Thread needs solution

Hi

Advance PC user here..

I know we wont have full compatibility support for win7 till MS releases the win7 and the acronis team gets the time to work on it.. but for now.. i desperately need to get it to work..

As i have understood from reading, there are lots of issues when INSTALLING TI on WIN7 system.. but what about if i settle w/ OS independed means? Shouldnt it work?

so I'd like to ask the following:

1) Will BACKUP/RESTORE and CLONING work on WIN7 32/64 from TI BOOTCD?

2) Will BACKUP/RESTORE and CLONING work on WIN7 32/64 system drive if it slaved on an XP System?

3) What about the Security zone? it's just a special partition really, so:

3.1) Will the F11 boot work w/ the win7 (if i can find a way to attach a Securezone partition onto my HDD and tweak the boot sector to give the option to boot on the SecureZone partition>

3.2) if using boot CD (should 3.1 question is a NO), will the Boot CD atleast be able to CREATE a SZ on the WIN7 DRIVE, and BACKUP/RESTORE images from it?

Would really appreciate some answers to these... i could ofcourse try and figure these out myself but i'd save so much time and effort if someone knew the answers already

Thanks very much everyone!
