Hard to say - not a lot of details to go on.

I'd start by re-downloading the full version of the latest package (should bd 2016 6589) from your account.  Once downloaded, right-cick on it and be sure to "run as administrator" even if logged in as admin.

If it's a newer version, it will install. If it's the same version, you should get a "repair" option.  Try repairing. AFter the repair, reboot and try Acronis again.

------------------------------------

If that doesn't help, you can to let it rebuild the database manually...

01) Stop all Acronis services (control panel >>> administrative tools >>> right click services and "run as administrator")

02) Navigate to the following HIDDEN directory and rename the "Database" folder to "Database.old" or whatever you want:

                             C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Database   >>>> database.old

03) Start the Acronis services again (control panel >>> administrative tools >>> right click services and "run as administrator")

04) Launch Acronis and then reconfigure the existing backup task(s) (select the source and destination and verify options).  Then save the changes by running the backup.

--------------------------------------

If things are still borked, do a full uinstall with the cleanup tool and re-install fresh.  https://forum.acronis.com/forum/126092#comment-391779

Plus you can try rebooting the computer - sometimes this simple trick can resolve many issues, not only Acronis-related.
