ATI doesn't wake system up
I have a cloud backup scheduled for 0400, and if the system is awake it runs just fine. If the system is in sleep state, it won't run until I manually wake the machine up with the mouse or keyboard.
Once the machine is awake, the backup runs.
This is a desktop, not a laptop.
I have hybrid sleep and hybernate disabled; sleep timeout is 30 minutes; wake timers are enabled.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Could there be a BIOS setting involved? The motherboard manual has no index, and I don't see anything that looks relevant. (It's an ASUS X99-E.)

Hello Jerry,
In addition to what Bruno suggested, you can also do the following:
1) install all available Windows updates and the latest drivers from Asus. Sometimes a system driver, not directly responsible for power management could cause an issue with waking up the computer
2) look if there is any rule that forbids or limits computer wakeup in the Advanced Power Management in BIOS: enter the BIOS - go to Advanced settings - APM Configuration. If possible, make a screenshot/photo of that screen
3) check if the problem is with Windows Power options: open Windows menu, type powercfg.cpl, press Enter, save your current settings in a custom plan ("Create a power plan"), then set "High performance" plan as the active (current) power plan, schedule a backup with Acronis in some time from now (at least 5 minutes), put the computer into sleep mode and see if it wakes up and whether the backup succeeds

Slava
