datetime stamp wrong on backup
I am not a whiz at posting on a forum, so please guide me if I am in error. I have used Acronis True Image for years and recently upgraded. Since then I realized that in March, all of my bakups have the wrong datetime stamp such as a full-BU done yesterday is 1/1/2014 and one done 2 days ago is 12/24/2013.I searched the forums and followed all of the suggestions that I could find.
I looked at the Acronis log that was routinly emailed to me after a successful backup and checked all the entries; their dates were correct.
I looked at the system logbook in the NAS and they all have the correct date.
The computer's clock shows the correct date and time at this moment. Other backups done GoodSync have the correct backup date on the NAS, an small external hard drive, and Microsoft's Overdrive. (I know; that is too many backups, but one cannot be too careful.)
What should I do?

RocklinDon,
You might boot your machine into the bios using the appropriate function key, (F2, F12, Del) are common, and see what time is set there. A wrong date/time there can cause all kinds of date/time issues.

Solution found:
This NAS drive is an Iomega 2 TB hard drive. Its interface with the network is through software put out by Iomega. I found that the clock in that software was off, so I reset it. Acronis now makes backups with the correct datetime.
I am surprised that version 17 revealed the problem; previous versions I had no problem.
Thanks for your interest and advice.

Glad you found it. That was going to be the next suggested place to look, good job!
