Home 2010 Event code: 0x00000067

Thread needs solution

I just upgraded to build 7046 to resolve a Tag=0x0 error when trying to run "One Click Backup". Now when I try to run "One Click Backup" I get and error saying "Failed to Run the Task" with "Event code: 0x00000067". This happens EVERY time. I can still run from the main windows, but not the One Click. Is the "One Touch" a failed application?

Are you saying that the one-click option from the TI GUI works, but the shortcut doens't or just you can make any other image apart from 1-Click?

Hello all,

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help.
Steve,
Could you please clarify where destination location is placed (whether it's on internal, external, or network hard drive)? Please recreate One-click backup task and see if the issue remains.
If the issue remains, and if you saved the archive to a networked share, please manage One-click backup task again specifying internal or external hard drive to save the archive to. See if the issue persists. This will help to localize the issue.
Also please provide us with the log file of the failed operation:
- Launch the program;
- Tasks and logs, Log;
- Choose the log entry which contains errors and make right-click on it;
- Select save option and specify the desired location for the log file to save to;
- Send us the log.
Colin, I assume that Steve has tried to run the same One-click backup task using the shortcut and from within program interface. Steve, please correct me if I am wrong.
We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience. If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other questions do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.
Thank you.

I hadn't tried the one-click from within the program. I think my original one-click task had gotten deleted when I upgraded or something. I re-created a new one-click task and it works OK from with the program and from the One-click desktop icon. Looks like the issue is resolved.

 Hello Steve,

Thank you for your response. I am really glad to hear that the issue has been resolved.

Please do not hesitate to ask additional questions if you need a further assistance.

Thank you.

I am having similar trouble as Steve was. The difference
is that I cannot get Acronis to run even from programs.
I am using Widows XP home edition. I down loaded the
fix you offer. Until last night I've had no problems running
Acronis.

M Orel,
Try performing a repair on TrueImage.

Rerun the install program and choose the repair option from inside the installer program.

Current build for 2010 home is #7046.
