ATIH 2017 Build 8041: 3 BSODs since updating to it this afternoon
This PC (my wife's) has never shown any trouble before, but ...
I updated ATIH 2017 to Build 8041 this afternoon. Within a few hours, it had crashed with a BSOD three times!
I did get a glance at the last BSOD before it disappeared. I saw snap .exe (not sure of the letters in between).
Any clues?
This PC has Win 7 SP1 fully patch 32 bit.

Chris, go into the Advanced settings and turn off the automatic reboot for any system crashes which will allow you to read the full BSOD error stop code information and file name.

Thank you both.
I have just unchecked Automatically restart in Control Panel > System > Advanced system settings. I will now be able see what crashed the system.
I will try downloading the 8041 installer file a bit later, when my wife tells me that she does not critically need her PC. It is her PC.

I have got as far as stopping Win 7 automatically rebooting after a BSOD.
Attached is a screenshot from the BSOD that happened 15 minutes ago. It is no longer blue because I passed it through Irfanview.
I am yet to attempt a Repair.

Chris, I would also recommend capturing an Acronis System Report and opening a Support Case for this BSOD with Snapman.sys with Support as this should be investigated by the developers.
If the Repair install doesn't help resolve the issue, then I would suspect that you will need to do a Clean install by using the Acronis Cleanup Tool after uninstalling normally, including following the steps in the KB document for checking the filters in the Windows Registry.

Steve,
I have opened a Support Case. I will probably wait until tomorrow for a reply from Support before downloading 8041 anew. I have told them that I intend to do so.

Steve,
A small update: I am getting help with the problem from the developer (via Tech Support). Acronis provided an update of the SnapAPI which has decreased the incidence of BSODs: they are now occurring about once a day rather than several times a day.
Acronis have had me uninstall Diskeeper 16 from the PC because it and ATIH may be in conflict. I am now waiting to see whether there are still BSODs. If there are, I will be sending them another memory.dmp file.

Chris, glad to hear that some progress is being made on this issue, thanks for keeping us informed.
I haven't used Diskeeper since version 9 which is long before I retired, probably more than 12 years at least - had forgotten all about it! Most modern versions of Windows do not seem to need the degree of defragmenting that the older OS's did.
