Fail to backup open files
I am running the latest version and backup files/folders is failing if any of the files are open. Is there a permissions setting somewhere that I need to authorise?

You can grab the logviewer and see if it sheds some light on what's causing the failure as well. It's #2 linked at the bottom of my posts. You can upload some of the logs as well if you want some extra eyes to review it.
what particular folder are you backing up as well that is failing?

Files failing to backup when open might indicate an issue with VSS not functioning correctly. When you respond again please indicated what version of Windows you are running as well as the info Bobbo requested.
