Incomplete Backup

Thread needs solution

Initial backup ran for three days.  When almost complete got an error mesage that backup failed to complete.   Help!

Can you share more details about what you are trying to do?

- what type of backup?

- what type of destination?

- How big is the data you are trying to backup? What type of content is it?

There are many reasons why a backup might fail.

    Acronis True Image 2017 - Initial Backup

    Acronis cloud.

 How big is the data trying to backup?

    366gb -  all files on MacBook Pro

 

Robert, with any Acronis Cloud backup, the application will keep retrying the backup until the initial backup has been created successfully or until you take action to cancel or delete the backup.

If you continue to see problems with the backup then you should open a Support Case directly with Acronis so that they can check from their end for the Cloud access point being used etc.
