HP ProDesk 600 G3 Desktop Mini - No Network Interfaces Detected

Thread needs solution

I seem to have this issue with every new ProDesk 600 generation - the latest being G3.

I have been Deploying images with ASD5 build 1666 to the HP ProDesk 600 G2 Desktop Mini PCs for about 2 years using a Bootable Media USB stick.

I received the No Network Interfaces message using Build 1666, so I tried upgrading to Build 1690 and I still get the same No Network Interfaces message.

Tech Specs on the HP site shows the G2 and G3 both have the same I219-LM NIC, but obviously something is different.

Worked with Acronis Support for a few hours today to try to get it to work, even with PXE boot to no avail.

Just wondering if anyone out there has gotten past this issue.

Thank you,
Kevin

Are you getting the errors with the rescue media as well?  Curious if the issue is the PXE component or the network driver itself.

You could build the 1690 default rescue media and see if it picks up a network address or not.

You could build WinPE with 1690 ad specifically add the HP drivers to it using DISMGUI or something else to inject them into the boot.wim once the WinPE has been created (best to build a usb flash drive for this so you can modify the boot.wim and copy it back.

The latest HP driver packs for WinPE are available at:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HP_WinPE_DriverPack.html

Do you have instructions for building the 1690 rescue media?   I put the term "rescue" in ASD5 Help and it came back with No Topics Found.
