timeout on Backup

Thread needs solution

At first my backup worked just fine but after some days of daily backuping the backup process had a timeout on each day.

I can start it manually or automaticly and it always has a timeout after roughly 5 minutes.

Another Problem is that i only have the activity_log which has many error writen in it without good description.

Can anyone help and tell where to find a better log?

Hi Nils,

The error occurs when the command is send from Acronis Management Server and it doesn't get responce from the backup agent which should be performing the task (e.g. from Acronis Managed Machine Service running on the backed up machine). It may indicate problems with Acronis services state on the backed up machine (the machine which is responsible for performing backup) and to properly address the issue you should contact our support team for assistance.

P.S. In some cases re-creating the backup plan helps as a workaround for this error.

Hi Nils,

Did you contact support and get a resolution to this? I seem to be having a simmilar issue. IE Backup worked for sometime, and now, the backup of one specific VM seems to be timing out. 

If you can assist, great, otherwise, i'll log a call with support.

I recreated the Backupplan already and it didnt work but i didnt get to contact the support yet. I'll do that next.
