I purchased this software 2 years ago, but only installed it, this month, May 2017, and I can not get the backup to work.

Each time I try to add a new backup, the program crashes.  I downloaded the latest version of this old software, but that did not help.  I would like to use this software to backup my upgraded PC, but I do not plan on purchasing a newer version, unless, I can get this one working.  The other tools seem to work okay.  Please let me know if you can help me resolve this issue.

Tom, welcome to these user forums.

Thank you for the System Report information which shows you are running ATIH 2015 build 6613 which was the latest one available for that product.

All looks to be correct in terms of the Acronis Services which are active / running, but I do not see any indication that you have created or run a backup task.

One probable issue is that you look to be running Windows 10 Creator's Update version and this introduced a new 'God Mode' folder on the Desktop which can cause ATIH 2015 to crash when it is encountered. 

See forum post: 129889: Crash Acronis True Image with Windows 10 from another user with the same crash issue - the workaround is to move or delete the 'God Mode' folder from the desktop.

I would recommend editing your Acronis user name to not show your full personal email address unless you are wanting to attract spam mail - these are public forums visible to anyone, including spam bots harvesting email addresses.

Wow, I deleted the God Mode folder, and I completed the backup without any problem.  I do not think I could discern the problem by myself, and I thank you for the solution.
