Issues while logged into a Windows standard user local account
I use the recommended practice of logging into Windows with a standard user account for everyday usage, rather than relying upon UAC to protect my system and my data.
TI-2017 must run install and run as an admin user, which makes sense I guess in order for it to access all system data. Everytime I run TI-2017 from my standard user account, it prompts me to first login using a proposed Admin account / password, which is also fine and expected.
Things function, but I've encountered the following two annoyances so far:
1) In BACKUP if I choose "Files and folders" it shows me Backup source in the context of my admin acccount's profile (documents, pictures, music, videos). I must laboriously browse into c:\WindowsOS\Users\<std-user> to select my desired source data. Similarly my backup destination is in the context of my admin account, so if I want to choose something like a OneDrive account resource I need to browse laboriously in the context of my standard user account. There doesn't seem to be any way to change settings to a different default user context.
2) Some TI-2017 operation seems to be dependent upon user context. For example, if I choose Settings and click on the Mobile backup location (?) contextual help, it mistakenly tries to find the help file in the context of the standard user account (file:///C:/Users/<standard-user>/AppData/Local/Temp/Acr8180.tmp.html). It just shows a blank screen of course.
Has anybody else noticed this funky behavior when running TI-2017 as a standard user? If so, did you find anything that fixes these context issues???? Temporarily change the standard user account into an admin account during installation of TI-2017?
Thanks!

Thanks Steve,
I think the first annoyance could be resolved if Acronis provided an option to change to a different Windows profile as the sticky default. Because this app needs to ask the user for elevated Admin account privileges, easy access to the option to change the default profile could be offered at that time, rather than expecting the user to fish around in advanced menus. I no reason why they can't fix this ease-of-use issue.
