Recovering identical computer
I have had several computer outages/accidents that left a computer bricked. So I decided to buy two identical Dell XPS13 2 in 1 laptops and Acronis True Image 2017 with the idea that if one computer becomes inoperable I could clone (recover) it on a its identical twin computer. The Acronis promo literature makes it sound that it is simple to do but I have found that despite being fairly technical it seems to take someone with far more knowledge than I possess.
I first created a backup on an external SSD drive and a USB key with Acronis Bootable Media. I then tested recovery on the second machine but it would not work because it could not detect the internal SSD drive in the laptop. Checking with Acronis tech support I was told that Acronis Bootable Media cannot be used because it cannot detect SSDs. I was told to use Win PE bootable media. I have been trying to create it but have run into a problem since one of the steps is to add drivers for the system and I have no clue where to find them and which ones to install. I did a search for .inf files on the C: drive and I found literally hundreds of files in many folders and no kind of indicator as to which ones I should be including.
Can anyone point me to where I can find this information or if there is a simpler way to recover from one system to another identical system?
TIA
Jon

Thank you Enchantech. I am in the process of trying out the tool but wanted to thank you for your response. Unfortunately I am finding that tech support is becoming less and less caring across the board and I have been getting misleading responses from several manufacturers. So when dedicated people like you give up their time to help others it is such a relief. I am very grateful.
Thanks,
Jon

Thank you again Enchantech. I was able to recover from one system to the other so that I can start operating on the second machine almost seamlessly. I say "almost" because I did run into a couple of problems which I am posting separately. Thanks, again. Jon.
