Customizable Dashboards 12.5 Standard

Thread needs solution

When I look at http://www.acronis.com/en-au/business/backup/features/#key-features

Under the heading Intuitive, Scalable Management I see Customizable Dashboards with out the word ADVANCED

Maybe I am missing something but under my Backup Management Console I see nothing on the left hand side menu with a mention to Dashboard and if the Overview is the Dashboard it is hardly customizable.

Can someone set me straight or is this some kind of fake news, thanks.

Have you installed the Monitoring Service? Note that this is not installed by default if you are updating from a previous build. If the service is not installed or running, the dashboard item will not be shown (because there is nothing to show)

The reason for this is that the service does have a non-negligible footprint (it will use about 60-100 MB of RAM to collect, aggregate and store reporting data). A lot of our Acronis Backup 12 clients use the product for 1-2 machines, and the dashboard is not needed in this case because there is no infrastructure for which you could get insights.

Note that the monitoring service has to be installed on the same server as your Acronis Management Server (the one that runs the web console).

Just launch the the installation file on your management server machine, click on "Modify the current installation", select the "Monitoring Service" and click modify to finalize the installation.
