Md5 checksum incorrect for AcronisTrueImage2017_is.exe #8058

Thread needs solution

I was going to re-install Acronis True Image 2017 last night and after downloading the file,  AcronisTrueImage2017_is.exe  #8058, I found that the MD5 hash listed on the Acronis site does not match the MD5 hash I was generating from the download. Acronis shows that the MD5 should be ac045ebad746e79417edf8905aec310a. However, when I generate the MD5 through Powershell, I am getting an MD5 of c292f5e399b9582fe505cf73b1632992. I tried multiple downloads as well as using another program for generating checksums all of which showed the MD5 as c292f5e399b9582fe505cf73b1632992.

Does anyone know what the correct MD5 hash should be for the file download,

AcronisTrueImage2017_is.exe #8058. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Donald, the only copy of ATIH 2017 build 8058 that I can find is the one that was downloaded automatically when my 2017 software checked for updates and this shows the MD5 checksum as being correct per the value you quoted.

When I attempt to download this file from my Acronis account I end up with ATIH 2018 web installer instead, I can only find the older build 8053 for 2017 via my Account..!

You can download that build from the Acronis download site rather than from your account.

Tried to download via the Product Updates webpage Ian, but that took me straight to the Acronis True Image 2018 download page so looks like Acronis would prefer that users go straight to the latest version unless you have a perpetual license in your account for 2017 (which I don't have).

Hi Steve, I am seeing the same thing. I am sure when I tried yesterday that it work ... but that may have been on a different system. Looks to me like a broken link.
