External USB SSD is not listed in the drive list for Restore

With Linux Bootdisc (Trueimage 18, #9207) my external USB SSD is not listed in the drive list for Restore. With Trueimage 17 the external SSD was correctly listed.
With Win PE Bootdisc my external SSD was found. But if I tried a restore, an error message with "Archive is corrupt" was shown. Are there incompatibilities between Linux and WinPE images? Hopefully not.
So I had to go back to Trueimage 17 to restore my image. Can I get back my money? So I can not use the new Trueimage 18.

Ok, if it works in near future I can stay with ATI 2018. Thank you for your fast answer!
The message with WinPE recover media ATI 2018, that the backup file is corrupt, is also because of the USB 3.0/3.1 problem?

I have contacted the product manager for ATI and he has referred this issue to the QA team for investigation. Hopefully it will be sorted in the near future.

You might try using a different port on your computer for attaching the drive. Some of the USB 3.0 ports are under powered and so attached drives will not work as expected. Rear panel ports on desktops are recommended.

Everthing works fine with TrueImage 2017. So it seems that TrueImage 2018 has a problem.
Thank you for your help!

Looks like it is a problem with the USB 3.0/3.1 drivers - possibly not present. I have reported this issue to the ATI 2018 product manager and they are investigating the issue.
