ATI 2018 Automatic Cleanup . . . isn't Automatic?
Installed 2018 over 2016 under which the last backup had failed due to a full disk. The disk contained 5 (incremental) backup chains dating back a year or so. The instructions that I found for removing unwanted chains said do not manually delete them, either use the Management Console or choose automatic cleanup and make appropriate settings. I chose the latter (first time this option was chosen), setting the number of chains to keep to 3. The instructions say cleanuo can only be initiated by starting a backup. So I did.
No cleanup was performed. The backup failed.
I restarted windows, restarted 2018, the automatic cleanup option was correctly set to 3, but for a second try I changed it to 2 chains. Same result . . . no cleanup, backup failed.
I looked for a Management Console. No such tool. Apparently that info is for version 11.5.
Any idea how to actually do a cleanup?

Coherent answer. Thanks.
Would be helpful if the app itself made that so clear.
