Error Preparing New UR Media

When preparing a new UR media, I recieved the Error Code:262.158(0x0004000E) and could not complete the creation of the UR media creation. I attached a screen shot of the error. If I create the UR media without including new driver files, the media is created without error. This is in preparation of moving my system to new hardware.
Any Ideas ?

Steve, how many additional drivers are you trying to include in your AUR media and are these actually needed?

Steve,
Actually, I have no idea how many drivers are required. I have the newest drivers downloaded from the Asus website for the new motherboard that is not installed yet. Expect to do that late today or tomorrow. When asked for drivers I pointed TIH to the sata driver folder that I downloaded from Asus yesterday. I guess it simply picked up all the drivers (.inf) in the folder. I have no idea what drivers are going to be used with the new mb and was trying to prepare for the arrival today. This is going to be a big change... Intel to AMD, mbr to gpt.. etc. etc... Just nervous and trying to get ready and have everything I may need.

Steve, the only drivers that should normally be needed are the Chipset and SATA Controller ones, most of the others can be installed, if needed, after you have Windows started.
The purpose of AUR in all of this is to substitute generic Windows / Microsoft drivers for all the hardware components in the restored OS that it can do so for, and only ask for those drivers for any hardware that it cannot do this for.
If you are migrating Windows 10 to new hardware, then there are good chances that you won't need any additional drivers at all, so worth trying a vanilla version of AUR first of all and wait/see if it asks for anything else.

Hi Steve....
The conversion went well with Win10 Pro.
I had an earlier post about converting mbr to gpt and saving everything...
All u MVP's chimed in and gave me good advice... Bottom line: I used mbr2gpt /convert on the 3 OS disks that I swap around on this machine. The conversion was good. 2 HDD and 1 SSD and booting with all new hardware was perfect. Everything was there, lost nothing and just installed all needed drivers from the MB disk and then ran the Asus updates. So the TIH/UR was not used, all 3 Win10 disks were converted to gpt via mbr2gpt utility and the move to totally new hardware (MB, Processor and memory) went without any trouble.
The only glitch is re-validation after a MB/Processor change... and I expected that issue.
Regards to all the MVP's for the prior assistance !

Glad to hear that all went well and you are up & running on the new hardware. Thanks for the feedback.

Steve,
A quick update that relates to UR, changing hardware and re-activation of windows.
As I said earlier in this thread, all went well with the mbr2gpt disk conversion and upgrade of Motherboard, CPU change to Ryzen from Intel and new ddr4 memory. I did not use any TIH UR and used the existing disk after conversion from mbr to gpt. The only thing that failed was Win10/64 activation. Today, I connected with microsoft via online chat and the knowledgeable tech requested remote control, ask for my original Win 8.1 pro key and went to work. In about 3 minutes, my Win 10 was re-activated. Did not expect that. My Win10/pro was a free upgrade from my Win 8.1 install. All is good....
Tested TIH recovery to a test disk and all is good there too.... So I am a happy Win10 and TIH customer.

Steve, thanks for the further update - that is good news about the activation on the new hardware and on doing the recovery test.

Thanks for posting your experience with mbr2gpt. I am happy that your upgrade went smoothly, even the activation apparently was painless! Enjoy your new rig!
