Acronis for Synology DS815
Hi,
unfortunately i can't find the Acronis application on my RS815 Synology NAS.
I dare this is due because this model is not supported, which would be a non-sense. Hence i'd like to know if i can install it manually ?
Additional question: Acronis Mobile for Android makes full backup instead of incremental. Any idea if this feature is available?

Hi,
thanks for your message. I indeed followed this website and indeed my model is not supported. Which is non-sense because it is more powerful than DS115J.
Consequently i would like to check how i can force the installation on this model. Any link where i can download the installation file?

Sebastien, the installation files are coded to work with specific NAS processor models and architecture, so your Synology will not allow you to force install them. I have already tried this with my own Synology NAS which is also unsupported.
The only other option I can advise is to submit a Support ticket to request that Acronis provide a version of the code that works with your specific NAS architecture. I have done this for my own NAS with Support ticket # 03080885. I am not holding my breath for this to be provided but I have registered my request for it to be considered for when they are looking at expanding support to other models of NAS.

As far as I know this cannot be done. Synology uses several variants of its OS, the one used depends on the SoC that is used. Check the SoC that your Synology uses and see if its OS is used by one of the supported models.
Neither Steve nor I have been able to test this as our Synology NAS are not supported.
