Acronis TrueImage 2015 Windows 10
Acronis 2015 keeps crashing on startup since I upgraded to Windows 10 even though I uninstalled and installed the latest version from Acronis's site. It does not tell me what the issue is but this is what I see in the Event Viewer

Paul, sorry that the SFC didn't help. I can only suggest trying a clean install of ATI 2015 given that you say this has never worked since updating to Windows 10.
See forum topic: [How to] uninstall a previous installation for a very detailed guide to doing this using the Acronis Cleanup Tool.

Ran through all that, reinstalled still getting the same error.

Paul, the only other suggestions I can offer would be as follows:
- Try uninstalling Microsoft Visual C runtime and reinstalling this as indicated by the MSVCR80.dll module listed in the error message.
- Try creating a new user account (Administrator) and doing the install from that.
- Download and try installing a 30-day trial copy of ATI 2018. If you still see the same error, then open a PreSales Support Case with Acronis to investigate this further.

Uninstalling MVC Runtime didn't work but I was able to reinstall ATI 2015 on a new administration account and I can run it from that account but when I go to clone my drive I get this screen and Acronis Knowledge Base says it has no information on that error. So I am still not able to clone my drive which is the main reason I have Acronis.

Paul, thanks for the update - some mixed news there..! Looks like there are some other authority / permissions issues at play here from your latest error message.
If you are trying to clone from within Windows, and in particular, if you are cloning your OS drive, then please see topic: [IMPORTANT] CLONING - How NOT to do this

Sorry about the delay getting back, other issues were going on.
Somehow all it took to clear the "permissions" problem was a chkdsk and repair on the destination drive. After repairing the drive the first backup was unbootable (however I believe the computer may have rebooted before the process was complete) but on my second attempt all went well.
Thank you for all your help.

Paul, thanks for the update / feedback, glad that the issue was able to be resolved by doing a CHKDSK.
