Customize the tib.tis file, unable to save in TI 2018
I'm attempting to customize the TI script file C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts\632E3077-DDD6-474B-822D-3CEA088FF761.tib.tis when I attempt to save the file I cannot save it to the current location. It is being blocked by TI.
In the file I changed @task@.tib to @TASK@_@MACHINE@_@USER@_BU@EXEC@_D@DATE@_T@TIME@_.TIB I want a file name that is more meaningful to me as the user.

John, welcome to these User Forums.
Have you tried to save the changed file after turning off Acronis Active Protection?

Steve, excellent suggestion, it worked. Previously I had tried killing the running task but did not think of just trying to turn it off (DUH).
I just kicked off the backup and checked the target folder for the file and I see Samsung SSD 840 EVO 500GB_S4_SYSTEM_BU1_D2017-11-21_T1642__full_b1_s1_v1.TIB being created thus the new script is working.
Following are the instructions:
It is necessary to turn off the Active Protection to save the modified script file.
Assuming True Image is running, click on Active Protection in the left NAV pane, in the window that opens, click on the green button in the top left corner. This will turn off the Active Protection. After you make the suggested changes to the script file and save it, turn the Active Protection back on.
I suggest that you then run the backup and check the target folder that will contain the backup file and ensure the file has the name you desire.

John...thanks for providing the feedback & technique.
What type backup are you running. If the backup is incremental or differential, I would be interested in seeing the file name of the second file in the sequence.

I'm running custom/incremental, daily thus I should have a new file about 0242 hours. I just checked the schedule and for reason, I don't understand some of the settings had changed, I reset them to my desired settings, daily, create full version after 7 incremental, store no more than 7 recent version chains.
The backup was successful but I DO NOT see it listed on the TI screen when I click on BACKUP. I expected to see it. I guess I could kick off another run, I think it will create an incremental.

FtrPilot OK I kicked off another BU, the file name is
Samsung SSD 840 EVO 500GB_S4_SYSTEM_BU2_D2017-11-21_T2004__inc_b1_s2_v1.TIB
This is what I expected to see.
Remember I changed the script to include
@TASK@_@MACHINE@_@USER@_BU@EXEC@_D@DATE@_T@TIME@_.TIB
@MACHINE - S4 is what I call my system, it was the 4th system I built, thus to keep things simple I called it S4
@USER - SYSTEM
BU@EXEC - BU2
D@DATE - D2017-11-21
T@TIME - T2007, I use the 24 hour clock to ensure I don't get timestamps messed up
