Online backup of network files

Thread needs solution

Hi there,
I've been a long time user of the home TI range, and now I've just began to consider Backup and recovery workstation.
I'm evaluating it at the moment and it looks good and very powerful. One aspext that I am particularly keen on is the online backup functionality and have got an evaluation licence for that too.
I can backup files from a local drive, but when I attempt to backup files stored on a network, I get an error and the backup fails. I've attached to the log files associated with the errors. Any ideas?

Thank you for your post and for the log attached. I entirely understand your concern and will be glad to assist you.

Online backup in Acronis Backup and Recovery has completely different acrhitecture than True Image, and it's troubleshooted in another way as well. Unfortunately the log you've kindly provided still leaves the question of the issue cause opened: there are still several possible reasons, and we need to localise one. Could you please gather the following information:

  1. What exactly is being backed up? 
  2. Help -> Collect system information from the Management Console connected to the problem machine
  3. Shared folder permissions

After that please kindly contact support directly with the information attached. Keep in mind that should there be any procrastination with the reply, you can always specify us the case number. We will do our best to speed up the process.
