Connection has been interrupted

I have three compuers which I backup. One of them is working fine, and can see the backups previously performed by the other two.

When I now try to backup the other two I get "Connection has been interrupted" and "Event code: 0x00980191+0x009800C8+0x009800CD"

Same here - I suspect Acronis have done something yet again. I will not be renewing the subscription as this backup option is so unreliable.

The above solved my similar problem "Connection has been interrupted" on Win7-64bit. The certificate had to be manually deleted.
