When I go to create a new backup plan the "What to Back up" list for Virtual machines is blank.

Thread needs solution

This happened before but I fixed it. Now I can't remember what I did and can't find the solution again. The agent for hyper-v seemed to install ok but when I try the repair option from the  full install I get the red X and the details say Code 06442537 and suberror code 0 1603. Capture.JPG

Hi Doug,

The best way would be to contact our support team for assistance as it would involve checking the log files from Acronis Backup agent installed on the machine (the installation issue should be investigated by checking the .msi log). First thing to look at would be \ProgramData\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\MMS\mms.0.log which contains information about the Hyper-V infrastructure reading events which should give clues on why the VMs list is empty.

Thank you.

I uninstalled Acronis and SQL express. Cleaned everything Acronis from registry and C: drive folders. Reinstalled and it appears ok now.
