Clone error: MFT Bitmap Corrupted

Acronis True Image 2016, Windows 10. Clone Disk error message: MFT Bitmap corrupted.  What is this and how do I get rid of it?

Hello Robert,

The message MFT bitmap corrupted usually suggests there are either errors on the disk or Acronis drivers malfunction and cannot access the disk.

The latter should be eliminated with the re-installation of the software (if we speak about a desktop version of Acronis True Image) or re-creation of a bootable media (if you attempt cloning under Acronis Bootable Media which is also the recommended way). 

If the issue still persists, then I'd do the complete diagnosis of both source and target drives. Some helpful topics on the matter:
