Backup stuck in "queued" state?

Thread needs solution

I have a backup running, and while running, I disconnected my Windows 10 PC from the network.  I reconnected it, and now the backup indicates it is "queued".  I tried pausing it, then clicking the backup now button, but it's still queued.  I also tried restarting the computer to no avail.

Can someone tell my why I can't resume this backup and why it seems to be stuck in a queued state?

-Thanks

I am presuming this is a cloud backup.  Usually clicking the backup now button will resume the backup, in my experience this takes a fair amount of time to start again.  If you are backing up a large amount of data it will take longer to start than with a smaller amount.  I would say be more patient before giving up.

It is a cloud backup, about 400 GB.  I'll check it tomorrow, hopefully it will be running again.

Bernard, it may also be worth suggesting that you hit the Pause button for any Cloud backup you have running if you know you are going to disconnect your PC from the internet, this should provide for a more graceful end than letting ATI go into an error recovery phase.

Pulling the network plug is rather abrupt!  What I did to resolve the issue was pause the backup, exit Acronis, restart the PC, then clicked the backup now button.  This time it worked instead of remaining in a queued state.

Glad that the queued issue is resolved, thanks for the feedback.
