What archive options have you chosen, as you can't perform whole disk images, only files and folders.
No changes of my services... i also installed windows 1 month ago...
The only change what i made, was to encrypt the archive. If i try to start the backup, it change the status from idle to queue, but nothing happens.... Very frustrating.

Is that Windows encryption such as bitlocker or the TI encryption?
Does it work if you don't encrypt it?

I wonder if SP2 is the problem.
Do normal backups or images work correctly?

Check that all the Acronis services are enabled and running. A re-installation of TI might solve the problem.
Are there any errors showing in Windows Event Viewer?

I had 3 services running... i go ahead and uninstall it and wait for response from acronis support, if they can't fix the problem, i wan't my money back.
Where can i look exactly in the Windows Event Viewer?

Is RPC service enabled and running, this is a Microsoft Service and if that isn't running TI won't work.

It might be worthwhile re-installing just to see if there was an installation problem.

I've forgotten which OS you are using, if you using XP or Vista then right click on My Computer on the desktop, choose' Manage', and then select Windows Events. If using Vista or W7 choose Applications sub heading.
With W7 you can right click on the My Computer icon off the' Start' menu.

Running Windows Vista SP2 64bit here...
There are 2 RPC Services, one of them is running...
I reinstalled Acronis now the third! time.... Same problem again. Can't do a online backup because of the error message what i get always (see first post).
EDIT: tried to run a one click backup, guess what.... yes, i get a error message.....

What Firewall software are you using, has TI got clearance to run?
There can be problems with Symantec and Kapersky products.
Are the ports that OLB uses open for use.

I Just use the Windows Firewall and F-Secure Antivirus 2010.
Looks like i am able to make a Backup of my Data like Pictures and Documents, still not able to make a Backup of my whole system.

I'm pretty sure that OLB isn't designed to make complete disk images, only selected files and folders.
I haven't tried uploading a complete OS drive to the server, and I can't experiment as my account has been froze, even though it states I have access upto October I think.

Ok, some news.... installed windows new, so there is no way to blame windows, still can't make a OLB. I can do only a Backup to my external HD...
