TI2011 - Where is "Use NT Authentication" when setting up a NAS archive location???

Thread needs solution

I just upgraded from TI2010 to TI2011. I was encouraged by the new chain backup capability.

In TI2010 I perform all my backups to network attached storage. This solution has worked very well. In TI2010 I check the "Use NT Authentication" when connecting to my NAS device. This is the only way to connect the network share since the storage has no ability to employ user permissions. The attached file is a screen capture from TI2010.

Where is "Use NT Authentication" in TI2011? Did they remove it? I sure hope not.

Anyone else need this feature back?

I was wondering the same thing. There's a problem, at least for some of us, trying to backup FROM a network location.

I thought this might be a problem with not being able to specify network credentials (as some have pointed out, you can't seeem to do this in ATI 2011) but curiously, in ATI10 and ATI11, I did not have to specify any credentials beyond logging into Windows and the Network when booting up my PC and I coudl back up form the network just fine. But under ATI2011, the network locations can't be read.

So, I'm thinking this isn't a problem of users not being able to specify credentils, but a prob due to some other change in the coding between ATI 11 and ati2011, and perhaps any or all of those inbewteeen.
