Disk Director 11 and True Image 11 broken
I have used DD or TI for a long time and it always worked for me until now with the version 11. I have added 2 SSD drives in RAID 0 and that was no problem when installing windows 7 on it. No problem changing partitions or backing up using version 10. Version 11 either does not see this SSD drive at times or sometimes it sees it but it thinks it is not formatted. Doing anything to this drive with DD or TI just makes it unusable and has to be fixed with DD 10.
What is going on?

As I said in my first post, neither DD 2011 or TI 2011 can see my SSD drives. Same drives are visible just fine with DD 2010 and TI 2010.

Palo,
1. TI 2011? If you really mean 2011 then that problem needs to be reported in the beta forum again v11 (about 3 years ago) shouldn't be installed on W7 as it won't work correctly.
2. Is this the Windows version or the Linux rescue CD version that isn't reporting the SSD's?

Running the either under windows is no problem but when executed from CD is when the problems come up.

OK, so there is a driver problem with the Linux kernel.
Have you tried downloading the ISO version of the rescue CD? This uses BIOS calls rather than drivers to work.
If you could post the brand and type of SSD you are using it might help Acronis see where the problem lies.

Palo,
I think the RAID might be the problem. If you've downloaded the ISO version (it might not exist yet, you'll need to see if there is a tab for it under your account) does that work?

Hello all,
Thank you for your posts.
Colin,
Thank you very much for your kind assistance.
Palo,
I will definitely help you with this issue.
I was able to find your case in our internal database and according to the information that I have, there are some errors on your hard drives that can be causing this issue. You were also offered to try a "custom" version of our bootable media supplied by our Development team. I was wondering by any chance if the 2 suggestions worked?
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.
