UK uploads speeds

Hello,

I am testing several online backup providers and I am interested to know what uploads speeds other people are getting with AOB from the UK.

I have run several tests between 11:30 PM - 12 Midnight, but the upload speed drops to a steady 443Kb/s.

Using other software I get max. upload speed almost any time thought-out the day or night, which for me is 1000Kb/s or more. This makes a significant difference in uploading times. Is there a better time for UK users to upload? I use Acronis Home 2010 and would like to use AOB aswell, but slow upload speed is a problem. I am using standalone version 4039.

Does Acronis store data for UK customers in the UK. I know that the data centre for the other software I am testing is in the UK. Would this make a difference?

I'm in NW England and manage a constant 470kb/s upload speed. I don't believe there are any storage servers for AOB in the UK, if there were it would make a difference.

that's about the same speed i get also. having said that, it's about my maximum upstream, so not sure if i would get much faster to be honest.

Since installing ATI2011 I am getting speeds up to my limit which is 1Mb/s. Not sure if that is a coincidence or if its v2011 !
