can't (re-)install TI 2010
Hi,
because of scheduler errors trying to run unexistend jobs I decided to deinstall TI 2010, Plus Pack and Media Pack. I followed every hint in Uninstaller and rebootet finaly one more. Now I searched HDD for "acronis" and found some folders/files in my user directory, so I deleted these also.
Now I run setup again to install but it rolls back. I read here a lot, tried the "clean up utility" (really hard unter win7 x64 to get and install the needed tools from ms), I'm going througt registry and created an setup.log.

Hi Colin,
thanks much for your reply. I've already read the mentioned article, but I tried again to let me help by this. I looked for nearly equal things in my log and possibly I found one, but ther are not matching entries in my windows registry. I also tried to search for "error" in log, except of al lot of "pixel boundry errors" I can't find any to understand resolving my problem.
Perhaps you'll find a few minutes to look into my log helping me again? You'll find it here or at http://www.seffner.de/lib-dl/ATIH2010MSILog.zip
With best regards

Hi Ronny,
I don't see much in the log file either apart from it having problems with the temporary folder.
At this stage the only thing I can suggest is.
1. Delete the contents of your Temp folder (c:\user\your user name\app data\temp), then try re-installing.
2. Boot into Windows Safe mode and see if it will allow an install from there.
3. Try installing for single user rather than all users.

Hi again,
and thanks for your help.
1st I deleted private an public temp folders an retried to install without succes.
2nd I tried to instal only for current user, also without succes.
3rd I booted in safe mode, but windows installer service is not running, not startable and so I'm not able to try installing there.
Atteched you - and any other who likes to help - can find different logs of first two tried methods.
With best regards
Ronny

Hello Ronny and Colin,
Colin, thank you very much for helping.
Ronny,
I will definitely assist you with resolving this.
According to the last set of both logs, the installation fails because the old True Image Mounter Driver (which is responsible for opening Acronis backups) cannot be removed. In such cases we recommend to remove it manually, reboot the machine and reattempt the installation. If it fails again, I would really appreciate if you can provide me with a new msi log so that I can continue assisting you.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.
