Thread needs solution

Dear Acronis, I hope this is posted in the appropriate forum. We are an Acronis customer via Kaseya. However in the recent months we have re-considered our usage of their product and would like to know the following 1) Do you have a list of other 3-rd party vendors or products which have Integrated your products? 2) Where can i find the most recent API or Command Line Reference Manual so to begin pursuing our own solution Kind Regards

Yes, you're in right forum and I will assist you with this situation.

1. Yes, this list is available, but unfortunately we're not able to share it on public sources such as forum.

2. Any situation related to tuning of Acronis software and integrating it to some specified solution (such as OEM programs) should be discussed with our Sales Team and Account Management.

Do not worry, they will answer all your questions regarding this situation. In order to forward the request to them, I need to gather some information from you:

I'm also interested of the "API or Command Line Reference Manual".

I'm evaluating a solution for the customer computer of our company to backup and recover Images (All customers are blind and visualy impaired people). The Idea is to integrade Acronis in WinPE and use some batch files (backup & recover command) to make it useable for blind people in this mode if Windows isn't running.

It would be grate if you could give me a link or a contact details to recive this list (if possible in german) to evaluate if it would be a practicable sloution.

Welcome to our Forum, it's nice to have you with us! I understand your scenario, and will be glad to assist you.

We do have an opportunity to create WinPE and BartPE with Acronis products.

WinPE media can be created with the help of Acronis True Image Home 2011 Plus Pack add-on, you can find the instructions here. I'm sorry they are in English, but I'll submit a request to our KB team, probably they will be able to have it translated to German.

You can also create a BartPE media with the Acronis True Image Home 2011 integrated, if you follow these instructions.

I have the same problem, I want collect some information from cloud, but in API RESTv2, I need a client id, and I don´t know how I get this.

Below my account I has some clients, and I want get, for example, quota usage.

Can you send to me a documention for the API?

Hi,

Acronis Data Cloud has different sets of API.

Account Management API (1.0 and 2.0) are not designed to get backup statuses. It is used to create users, partners, customers, change their attributes, getting usage, etc.

If you have any questions regarding this API and you have active partner contract, please contact support. They can help you to get Account Management API Quick Start Guide. Better if you share a short description of integration you are going to implement. We need this info to better design API.

Backup Statuses are available in Backup API. Backup API is not publicly available but you can always check which requests Backup Console (JS application) sends to REST API using Developer Tools built in into browser. As soon as it is not available publicly it can be changed in future versions and you have to update your integration.

Public availability of Backup API is planned for one of the next releases.

Could you clarify why do you need this integration? Which business case are you going to cover with it?

Hello,

one of our customer likes to use Acronis Backup. The idea is to start a local backup and show some kind of progress bar to inform the user about the progress. For the UI it should be done in our Application without the Acronis UI.

All data is local without any cloud and internet access.

I was in contact per email with the support. The answer was, that the API/ SDK is deprecated and will not longer be supported. So there is no official way to do this.

For me it´s hard to belive, that there is no solution from acronis for Acronis Backup/Acronis Trueimage or whatever to start a backup without using the acronis UI and show some simple progress.

Can somebody say something please about that topic?!

Acronis Backup 12.5 can be used for isolated environments and can be managed using CLI.

Here is the link on CLI guide.

Acronis Backup Cloud cannot be used in isolated environments because it is cloud service and it requires connectivity to cloud management server. So, if you need to implement your use case, please use Acronis Backup 12.5 solution.
