Acronis insists on Full Backup every time
Hi,
I have two NAS drives with the following settings (see screen capture). Basically it's one full back up then incremental, with a cleanup after 30 days. The first NAS drive is following the plan perfectly but the second one is trying to do a full back up every time. When I've caught it doing this I've stopped the uneeded Full Backup, double checked the settings, tried selecting and unselecting them again, yet still it tries to do a full back up when the sechdule time comes around. It doesn't seem to realise there's already one there.
Hopefully you can point out where I'm going wrong!

My understanding now, was that I have a FULL BACK UP and when my settings would reach its scheduled time it would be incremental from then on out:

Is it a case of I started the FULL BACK UP manually, so when the schedule time came around it didn't count it as being done?

Paul, thanks for the log data showing the issue you are seeing here.
Running your backup manually should not make any difference to how the backup scheme works so this looks to be an issue with the backup task itself. You have said that your other backup task is working correctly, so it is unlikely to be an issue with the application.
I would suggest deleting this problem backup task and creating a new task to remove any issues being caused by the application script used by this task having become corrupted or damaged in some way. If taking this route, I would recommend using a different task name for the new task.
An alternative method here would be to delete the task as above (keeping the existing full backup file on your NAS in both cases), then using the option to 'Add existing backup' where you select the full backup file on your NAS then reconfigure the backup settings for the new added task, including renaming the task to remove the extra _full_b1_s1_v1 characters shown.
Note: Add existing backup is hidden behind the carat to the right of the 'Add backup' option shown in the GUI.

Question: Is the working task using your computer as the Source data to an NAS vs. the non working task having the Source that of one NAS to the other NAS?
If the above is correct then the failing task will not work due to that fact that the NAS devices are Linux based instead of Windows based.
