Include additional folders in Nonstop Backup
Hi, I'm testing ATI 2011 and configured Nonstop Backup to protect some of my personal folders. When doing so, I was unable to add subfolders of AppData, as it doesn't show up in the menu. Later, I tried to add those folders by right clicking/ using the context menu entry in the explorer. The program asked for my admin password, but after that I still don't see the folders in my Nonstop Backup. How am I supposed to add the folders?

Thanks for your reply. Actually, AppData is a normal (but hidden) folder. There are junctions pointing to subfolders of it though. I just found a (partial) solution to my problem: True Image only shows hidden folders when the corresponding explorer option is activated. As I normally don't use the admin user, I never set that option. Doing so shows hidden folders in True Image, allowing me to chose them for the backup. However, this doesn't explain why I'm not able to add folders (hidden but visible) via context menu. It shouldn't matter if they are hidden (on the admin account, not my normal account) or not in that case. Sounds like a bug to me.

You are welcome wb, it may be that you have found a bug using Win7 and I can't replicate it obviously. From my knowledge AppData does not operate in the same way as the Application Data folder did in XP and other things in Win7 aren't the same - like I said I wouldn't know how Win7 operates but hope TI2011 works now as you want it to.
