Creating an Image with the USB Version of TI -> cannot read this image

Thread needs solution

Hi, I have created an image with an USB bootable key using the TI version. If I try to read such an image with the full/Desktop version of TI on Windows 10, I am getting an error message, that some parts of the image are missing. How can I read such an image on the desktop?

Thanks and Regards,

Andrea

Andrea, there should be no problems in reading / opening / viewing a backup image created by using the Acronis bootable Rescue Media using either the installed ATI application or using File Explorer on a computer with ATI installed.

What type of backup image did you create here?  Disks & Partitions or Files & Folders?
What were you backing up?  A Windows OS drive, a data drive, a different computer?
Are you using the same version of ATI for both activities (USB media and Windows app)?

Please download / use the MVP Log Viewer tool to look at any further error messages being generated by ATI when viewing the backup file.  This can be downloaded from the Community Tools link below.
