Acronis TI 2019 - MVP builder

Yes, it is indeed possible and I have done so a couple of times during the Beta testing program (which reminds me that I need to update my USB stick now the product is on the official release version!).

With the True Image 2019 version it is not possible to use a sd card. With all True Image versions bevor i can use my sd card to create a acronis boot medium. Now, the sd card is not listet longer to create this boot medium. I think this is a downgrade of the useability.

Sven, I have to confess that I have never tested / tried creating rescue media on an SD card but this really would depend on both the size of card and the format it uses, plus that the card is recognised as being removable.

For the rescue media, the card size should be less than 32GB and formatted as FAT32 - Microsoft impose restrictions on booting from any media larger than 32GB in size, but having media larger than this would be wasteful as only 1 to 2 GB is actually needed.

Long time no speak other MVP's :).

I just grabbed the latest 2019 official version. FYI, the embedded media builder in Acronis does not seem to work with ADK 1803.  So far though, the Acronis MVP media builder is working fine with it (limited testing, but things seem to be functioning with the recovery media as expected).

Scratch that.  I rebooted and it looks like it may be working with the new embedded media builder now.  Will find out soon.

For me it's only important for an USB drive, not SD since I don't use SD on my pc.

Sven, I am able to create Rescue media on ATI 2019 on a 16GB SD card without issue.

The SD card in question had been used in a camera so I used Diskpart to clean and prepare it before pointing the Acronis Media Builder to use it.

So frantic I had not noticed. Welcome back.

When did quote feature return. Have I been off in the clouds for long on that one. Took me a while to work out how it is implemented.
