Can not delete old backups in Acronis true image 2019

Thread needs solution

I can not delete old backups in Acronis true image 2019 via the backup cleaning tool. The instructions say:
1. Start Acronis True Image 2019.
2. In the Backup section, click the down arrow next to the backup that you want, and then click Clear versions.
The Clear backup versions window opens.

But there is no 'cleaning' in the drop-down list. I use the 'Acvronis security zone' to store backups. But it seems to me that it does not matter. I tried to clean up and backup copies, which are simply stored on disk in open form. And I did not notice any point in the 'clean-up' menu. If this is a joke about a new feature, what's not funny ... The disk space is over and I wanted to clean up old backups in the security zone and not delete the security zone as I had to do before. Help, please.

I suspect this may be related to the problem reported elsewhere of ATI 2019 not properly recognising backups created prior to the installation of ATI 2019 (see here and here). Have you tried validating the backup task. If that option is not available, then you may need to use the recovery media which I assume will find backups in the secure zone (I have not used secure zone since about ATI 2010 so I am making some assumptions here.

I suggest trying to access the backup from within windows, then send feedback (making sure that "Attached system report is selected). You should also indicated in your feedback that it looks similar to the support request made by Steve Smith - "Support Case is 03457367".

To give feedback open ATI 2019, click on help then select "send feedback" - the envelope icon.

Not sure this helps much but it is the best I can do at the moment.

It would be helpful here if you could post some screen shots of what exactly you are seeing - this will help us to better understand the issue?
