True Image 2019 Cloning problem

Please be aware that True Image 2019 has a major flaw. Can't wait for an update.

It crashed my BIOS and Boot sector. This happened when I made a new boot from USB drive. Upon trying to boot from the USB drive is when I believe the problem happened.

I could not boot from the USB drive or SSD. I could not boot from any of my cloned drives either.

I had to repair the bios, reinstall windows and programs. I was able to backup data files from my server.

Please can you document exactly you were doing here?

How did you go about the cloning operation?

What drives were connected when you booted the computer?

Note: I have never known any version of ATI to cause any changes to computer BIOS, but it most certainly can change Boot sectors.

Like Steve I have never had this happen and have no recollection of it being reported.

One thing that can happen (and it is done by ATI, but by the BIOS/UEFI) is that the default boot option may not be set to the correct disk. You also need to remove the old disk as having two disks with the same disk ID can cause issues, as can having identical Windows installations on those disks.
