Consensus Opinion of TI 2019 One Month In?

Thread needs solution

It has been a little more then a month since TI 2019 was released and I wonder if there has been some kind of early general consensus on "how it's doing" : ) I am certainly not a first adapter so I am waiting before installing. I know that message boards are not the best place to get a feel for new software since this is where people mostly come with problems soooo what do you all think of TI 2019 so far? Thanks.

Dan, there are several issues with ATI 2019 which should hopefully be fixed in the next build which hopefully is not too far away. For me the new features are not a must have, so unless you have an urgent need for one of these features I would delay until the next beta is released.

My understanding is that they are working on solutions for all of the reported "bugs", and hopefully will have a solution to the OneDrive files on demand problem (which is encountered by all versions of ATI).

The issues identified are problems with time-outs with backups to the Acronis Cloud (an issue with new backup tasks), the potential for botched importing of existing backup tasks when you do a clean install (which surprisingly is not fixed by doing a save and restore settings - save before installing ATI 2019 and restoring once 2019 has been installed after uninstalling earlier version). The latter problem does not arise if you install over ATI 2018.

Thanks. That was the impression I got from reading the board.

Dan a new build was released overnight (Melbourne Australia time) that fixes some of the issues, but the OneDrive files on demand problem apparently has not been fixed.

Thanks for the update. Well, that was timely : ) Since I am having no issue with 2018 chicken that I am I will probably still wait a while and see how things shake out. Thanks again.
