NSB icon missing

Thread needs solution

The NSB icon is missing from the System Tray, it always used to display there, it is not in the 'Show hidden icons' box. The icon would indicate if NSB had stopped, very frequent occurrence, now there is no indication it has stopped unless I open the programme.

Thank you.

Peter, on the occasions when I have 'lost' the ATI icon in the system tray for a running task, a restart of Windows has normally brought it back again.  As to why it gets lost, that is a mystery to me!  I also have the opposite issue occasionally where the icon stays in the system tray telling me that an error occurred even hours after the task has finished and others have been run after it - again a restart has resolved that too!

This is more of an annoyance / nuisance rather than a serious issue as it doesn't appear to cause any actual problems with ATI running and my backups being made, but can certainly be frustrating!

Peter, do you have other Acronis True Image icons in tray? (Acronis Active Protection or an icon during an ordinary backup)

If they all are also missing, TrueImageMonitor.exe may have crashed.

Thank you Steve and Renata. Initially I tried inserting a TrueImageMonitor.exe shortcut into one of the StartUp folders, it didn't work so I did an Install/Repair and the icon has now returned, I have Active Protection deactivated.

Thank you both for your time.

Peter
