How to backup only one disk of the pc?

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I've been using older versions of True Image where it was very easy and straightforward to select the precise HDD to backup.

Now, with Acronis True Image 2017 I get only the possibility to backup ALL the pc.

I have an SSD with my OS and programs on it and a separated HDD for data, how can I select which disk to backup (not clone) frome the True Image interface?

I can't find the way... it might be me not being enough smart, but in my opinion it's not a clear user interface.

Thank you

EDIT

Ok, I found the way, I had to create a new backup and choose which source disk.... anyway I still believe that it's not a simple user interface, why not giving easily in the starting menu the choice of the source disk?

Sw developers are sometimes too in love with their creature and don't think of problems users might encounter, not speaking about the fact that I have bought True Image 2011, 2017 and 2018 and I DON'T HAVE SUPPORT FROM ACRONIS, in my account my versions are described with NO SUPPORT... ask community!

Next time I'll have the impulse to buy a new version of Acronis (... never more in my life) I'll pay for the purchase the Community, not Acronis!

Cheers

Roberto, welcome to these User Forums.

When you see the Source showing as 'Entire PC' in the ATI 2017 GUI, simply click on that Source panel and it will change to allow you to make other source selections, including a single disk drive or partition.

See the ATI 2017 User Guide: Backing up disks and partitions - for more detailed steps to follow.

Hi Steve,

thanks for the quick answer.

As you may read from my edited post I found the way, after days of frustration and useless Gb building up in my backup external HDD, in the minutes you were writing me.

I'm somewhat disapponted by Acronis customers service, thanks God there is the Forum.

Cheers.

By the way, the problem was that clicking on the "Entire PC" nothing happened, I had mandatory to create a new backup voice in the left bar.
