True Image 2019 Not Running Daily Scheduled Backups

Thread needs solution

Since updating to the 2019 version I have noticed that the 3 daily scheduled jobs that I have are no longer running as scheduled.  After noticing this I specifically made sure that there were some changes to the files in the folders to be backed up.  What to do ?

To add a bit these backups had been running perfectly fine for a couple of years on earlier versions. Not exactly sure that this problem coincided with the 2019 version install though.

Are you running the ATI 2019 for Mac or for Windows product version here?  Your signature just mentions ATI 2017 for Mac?

If this is the Windows product, then the MVP Log Viewer Tool (link in my signature) may help shed more light on what is / is not happening?

If this is the Mac product, then sorry but I have no experience of using ATI for Mac and do not own a Mac computer.

I am running the 2019 Mac version.

You might try asking about this on the Mac Forum HERE

Hello Jim,

I see that you've raised a support ticket for this issue. Would you mind sharing the outcome with the community? Was the issue resolved?

Thank you!

After numerous back and forth messages, Acronis support told me that the backups will not run as scheduled if the Mac is in Sleep Mode.  This was never an issue in the past, but now it is.

I changed my backup schedules to make sure the Mac was NOT in Sleep Mode, and all run now as scheduled.

Weird, they told me is has always been this way, but I never had the problem before.  Oh well.

I know this is old post, but I recently opened ticket with same issue, worked fine under ATI 2018 but not 2019.  They wanted me to post documents (video) of scheduled task NOT running when it was supposed to, tried to explain that if Mac is awake it will run fine, so no way for me to take video of it not running in sleep mode.  They never said it was supposed to work like this, odd.

How did you resolve this? I have 4 MacBook airs and if I don't want to NEVER let them go into sleep mode if not plugged in.
