Trying to install an evaluation version of TrueImage 2010 on a computer that had an evaluation version of the previous version of TrueImage.

Where I am, they drag their feet making a decision to purchase software. In the time since we tested the software previously under the 15 day trial (it worked perfectly!), there has been a new version released.

Now, we have to test that version as it is the most current and would be the one being used.

On a Windows 2000 machine, we had the previous version installed for evaluation. We uninstalled it, and are trying to run the new installation .exe file and upon launching, are getting the following error:

TrueImage2010_d_en.exe - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point SetFileShortNameW could not be located in the dunamic link library KERNEL32.DLL.

Thoughts on how to work around this?

Ahhh I think I found the problem after some research. 2010 doesn't support Windows2000 any more.

Well. That solves that... and only in a matter of minutes.

That's a shame, really. We liked the tool, now we can't use it.
