Blue Screen Crashes with 2010

Thread needs solution

I’ve had two blue screen crashes recently! The error codes are:

Ox0000077
0000010
0xAD574C34
0xB30A6C34

I've just downloaded True Image 2010. I’m running XP Pro SP3 and have auto updates turned on.  I have a Dell Dimension 9100, 3GB Ram with Pentiun D2.8 Ghz CPU.

Is the new 2010 version at fault? Any ideas?

It's possible they're being caused by TI 2010. Do they still occur if you uninstall it?

Did you have a previous version of TI installed prior to 2010? If so, did you uninstall it before installing 2010?

Do you have any external drives or media card readers connected to the computer?

Thanks for your post.

I had 2009 and Acronis Home Edition before this with no BSOD issues.  I did uninstall 2009 before 2010 went on.  I've got an external hard drive that I send all my back ups to.

I've generally found TI to be unstable.  I always get corrupted back ups and have start afresh.  The scheduller always seems to go wong.  I've a stack of email from Acronis going back about 18 months.  I would really like to find a more reliable alternative back up software!

HI.

I also have had two "blue screens of death" with ATIH2010 and Windows 7.

It appears to be caused by "TDRPM261.sys" or something like that. The crash occurs very quickly before the system completely shuts down. This also occurred with version 2009.

So back to removing Acronis and again wasted my money. Was unable to use 2009, now paid for 2010 because the website show that 2010 was compatible with "all" versions of Windows 7.

Ciao,

Trevor Daley.

Hi Aidan Winder. I can recommend O & O DiskImage from the german software company.  It works without any problems like BSOD and with external hard drives .The software is also available in english. http: / / www.oo-software.com/home/de/
